We are Constructive Speakers Toastmasters Club #7707. We meet every Monday at 12:30pm for one hour at WealthPlan Financial 2815 Coliseum Centre Drive Charlotte, NC 28217 on the 2nd floor. We're a very flexible and accommodating group where all visitors are welcome. This is a great opportunity for anyone with a desire to improve their speaking skills. We have members that are just starting out, others that have achieved their Competent Communicator Certificate, and others that have achieved or close to achieving Toastmasters highest competency called Distinguished Toastmaster. Wherever you may be in your public speaking, your welcome at our club.
Members who attend meetings are gradually given opportunities to speak in various meeting "roles". Roles include Speaker, Evaluator, JokeMaster, Grammarian, TableTopics Master, and Meeting Toastmaster. Experienced members are also encouraged to take on the responsibilities of club officer duties for a given Toastmaster year. Through participation in club roles and the responsibilities of club officers, the Toastmaster is provided ample opportunities to work on speaking at his or her own pace.
